Correspondance
The emails that we have sent and received from Mark Ringwood we have documented.Questions
We have asked two set of questions one with the Vox pop recipients and one for the arranged interview Mark Ringwood. The first set of Questions used were for the Vox pops.
- How are you feeling about comic relief taking over the town ?
- What are you most looking forward to ?
- Are you attending any of the scheduled events ?
- Have you been involved in the planning or process of the events?
- What do you think this event has done for the town ?
The second set of questions were for the arranged interview with Mark Ringwood. Here are those set of questions.
- How did you come up with the idea of painting the town red ?
- Now the vibes really great here, so how do you think the people of Ensworth are feeling about having the first ever red nose day town?
Arrangements made
The arrangements with Mark Ringwood were made for permission to shoot and possibly achieve a short interview at the events. We arranged at first for an late meeting to be their whilst their prise event the silent disco was taking place this grew more difficult due to the lack of technology on our part and the presence of the BBC at the event meant that we wouldn't have a chance at interviewing any of the main organisers. Instead of carrying out this elaborate plan we instead went down during the set up of this very important event this allowed us to aim the piece towards people about to attend. In the end we organised a brief interview with Ringwood and the time and date that we would have to be on the scene shooting.
Why did you chose to interview this person ?
We chose to interview Mark Ringwood for this story as not only was he the inventor of this whole idea but he was also held the main role of placing the events together. He is the organiser for Wemsfest a local company that arranges large events so extended this to planning this red nose day festival he also drafted in many of his collgues and friends that we also tried talking to but failed due to the buzz of the event organising. He felt to us the best person to interview as he was at the very heart of the event and held the most information about it.
