For a sensible source of primary research we have decide on a vox pop. This allows us to show multiple opinions.
The script
( open with shot of people on their phones - establishing shots )
Did you know according to media of com a research study last year showed that more then 92% of adults in the UK own a mobile device. These people on advarage send 171 SMS or MMS message per month. This poses the question do we rely on our mobile phones too much ?
We asked some member of the public what they thought.
( Insert footage of vox pops asking teenagers how much they check their phone and do they think this technology in taking over )
These phones are not used for their usual purposes as much as they used be. A study shows that most phone users are typically using their phone for social networking and email. This means that health scares have also risen as the lack of social interaction is harming the way people communicate in social situations.
Its biggest impact has been on the youth as they are facing multiple issues such as internet addiction and cyber bulling. This is only becoming more of a problem as children are exposed more and more everyday to the use of mobile phones and social media. Now we have let 9 out of 10 in the Uk own a mobile phone we have to work out the consequences.
