For our news report we have chosen a fun story based around a local family event. The event in question is the weekend long Red Nose Day event due to happen in Emsworth. The town plans to paint the town red to become the first ever Red Nose Day town by creating a schedule of comedic themed events such as stand up gigs, competition and a large silent disco in the town square they plan to raise as much money they can for the charity whilst having the most fun as possible. They have also tried to gather a little community spirit by getting as many local businesses involved as possible. We have chosen this story not only for its locality and possibilities to shoot but also because it is easily tailored to our news shows target audience. The shoot will also be easily changeable as the wide spread day allows us to shoot on multiple days if we wanted and we could easily gain information. To shoot we will do it all on location at Emsworth in the main square the hub of the major events. We hope to gain evidence whilst were there through vox pops and interviews with people that are involved such as the organiser. Whilst doing our shoot will will use many reference these are those:
